I just wanted to update you on what is happening this weekend.  Eric and I are leaving for
Texas on Friday for what he thinks is going to be a speaking engagement.  It is really to honor
him and announce that the city of McKinney Texas raised all the funds for Eric's Ibot.  You
would think that that endeavor in itself would have been enough but they have big hearts and
are really wanting to make a difference in our soldiers lives, so they adopted Eric as their cities
hero and are having a huge day planned for us this coming Saturday where he will find out
about getting his IBOT and about being their adopted hero.



IT IS A SECRET SO PLEASE DO NOT SEND ERIC ANY EMAILS UNTIL NEXT WEEK OR CALL
HIM ABOUT THIS UNTIL NEXT WEEK.  HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING.



I have attached the articles and the progression of events that lead to this weekend as well as
the event in October, which is also in honor of Eric.  This is just one event that they have
planned, from what I understand we will be seeing a lot of Texas this coming year!



I hope you find them a blessing as I have.  I don't think I have cried this much in a long time, but
it is a good cry and will take it any day.



God has truly blessed us in so many ways and continues to open new doors for us to work in
as well as continues to heal Eric daily.  

Thank you for all you love, prayers and support.  Family and friends are so important to us and
the love, kindness and support that you all continue to show us is beyond words.  I thank God
daily for each and everyone of you and pray that He keeps you close to his heart.

Please say a thank you to God for all the blessings he showers us with daily because if it were
not for Him, I would have never made it through all this.  He truly gets all the glory and praise.



We love you all and will send pictures and videos for all to see.

Eric is truly an American Hero!
Forget all the Barry Bonds of the world that lack character, courage and commitment.  Eric has
shown what a real man is and his life has more meaning and significance than all the athletes
of the world combined.
I am proud to be related to such a guy and for him to be connected to this family!  God Bless

Hi Folks:
I just wanted to pass on some VERY GOOD news about Eric Jordan.
I've been in contact with Carrie Hess-Jordan Eric's mom and she reports that Eric is now
participating in the Beyond Therapy Program at Shepherd Hospital in Atlanta, GA.  
She informed me that Eric is actually walking with the assistance of a device called "Para Step"
which of uses electrodes connected to his hip and leg muscle resulting in him
walking 92 steps the other week.
In addition, with funding provided by Johnson & Johnson and the Town of Lakeway, Texas
[pop. 8,002] Eric was presented with a iBot 4000 Mobility System last Saturday;
heck instead of me trying to describe what happened take a look at the attached file which
contains an article of the event from the local newspaper.

Again, I just wanted to share this GREAT NEWS with you about Eric; so passed it on to as
many Currahees that served with Eric that you maybe in contact with.
